Meet Georgie, founder of Little Steps Dietetics
I’m Georgie, and I’d like to welcome you to Little Steps Dietetics. As an Accredited Practising Dietitian, I have spent my career working in both the hospital and community settings across Darwin and Perth. Over the years, I discovered my passion in paediatrics — supporting children and their families through the unique challenges of growth, nutrition and mealtimes.

As a proud Aboriginal woman, I’m deeply committed to giving back to the Northern Territory community through accessible, culturally safe and family-centred dietetic care. Little Steps Dietetics was founded with the goal of improving health outcomes for all children, creating a space where every family feels seen, respected and supported.
Growing up in the Northern Territory and now raising my own little one in Darwin, I understand the importance of community and the support families need during those early years — and the value of having healthcare services close to home. My approach is grounded in empathy, clear communication and a genuine desire to make a lasting difference in the lives of young patients.
Since welcoming my daughter in 2025, my passion for helping families give their children the best nutritional start to life has only grown stronger. To ensure I provide the most up-to-date, evidence-based care that makes a lasting difference, I am committed to ongoing professional development to continually enhance my skills and deliver a high level of service to every child and family I work with.
